I am a lifelong student of the human body, the nervous system, and the subtle ways we transform experience into meaning.
For nearly four decades, I have worked with thousands of people through healthy touch, embodied awareness, and conscious choice - guarding them back to a deeper relationship with themselves.
Soul In Power was born from this lifelong devotion: The devotion to presence, to resilience, and to the truth that healing is not something we chase - it is something we allow.
My Path
I was raised in an eclectic, creative, and deeply curious environment -one that encouraged exploration of both the inner and outer worlds. From an early age, I learned that life is complex, layered, and filled with unseen forces that shape who we become.
Like many who find their way into the healing arts, my path was not without challenge. Experiences of adversity and early emotional wounding led me to ask deep questions about safety, connection, and the body’s role in survival and recovery.
Rather than turning away from those questions, I followed them.
That journey became the foundation of my work - but as a story of awakening, agency, and embodied wisdom.
The Work I Do
Through decades of hands-on bodywork, coaching, and teaching, I discovered something profound:
The nervous system is the gateway to transformation.
When the body feels safe, the mind softens. When the mind softens choice becomes available. And when choice becomes available, life begins to shift.

Sacred River - Fire, Earth, and Renewal
Nature has always been one of my greatest teachers - not only in beauty, but in truth.
Several years ago, a wildfire swept through our Sacred River and consumed our retreat, sanctuary, personal belongings, and over twenty years of devoted labor and love. What was lost was not just a structure, but a living space of memory, intention, and community.
And yet, in the aftermath of the fire, something extraordinary remained.
The river kept flowing. The land began to regenerate. And so did we.
This experience became a profound embodiment of what Soul In Power represents - the capacity to meet devastation without collapse, to grieve, without losing your center, and to rebuild from presence rather than fear.
Today, - and that what we hold with love can be transformed, but never truly taken from us.

Soul In Power is not built in isolation. It is supported by a life rooted in partnership, creativity, and shared stewardship of shared life journeys with family, friends and associates. Alongside my husband, Russell, I continue to co-create Sacred River as a place of renewal, reflection, and gathering - shaped by both vision and devotion.
Our family, our land, and our community are part of the living ecosystem that makes this work possible.
